In a territory with a high wine-growing tradition, granddad Mario had the idea and the ability to transform his agricultural experience into a commercial activity, creating a company in his name.
This is how the Arione Mario winery was founded in Canelli (Piedmont) in 1953.
At the beginning the most important activities were done with private local customers. Soon, thanks to an ever higher demand of wine, the Arione Mario winery widened its business to neighbouring areas, becoming supplier both of domestic clients and retail business.
Over the years, the passage from one generation to the next has allowed the company to evolve and to meet the increasing needs of the wine market.
Thus, today the ARIONE MARIO Winery has become an important national and international competitor thanks to the application of new technologies and larger areas in the wine production.
